Taipei Zoo and Taiwan Departure

This is my room at Red Cabin... now packing up to prepare for departure...

Luggage of our whole team... 9 person...

Another car is this 7 seats MPV... she always the one to go on board.

Our breakfast, pork bloods and bee hun...

 Flight is at noon, we still have some time... so we stop by Taipei Zoo... we can catch panda here...
This panda statue suppose restricted for riding... father just ignore, but no worry, mother is guarding beside...

I remember my parent brought to a small zoo near Alor Setar when i'm small... not sure if i'm excited that time...

As we have flight to catch, we just go for visit few of this "friends"... Panda, Polar Bear, Penguin.... Is early day of Monday, so not much people here, so don't have to entertain much on queuing....

We really in the mood to depart, do want to try any other new food, so just go to McDonald in Zoo... Although bit rush, still surprise with design of restroom...

 Mr Lee help us for group photo infront Taipei Zoo, really not much people here... like i book this whole place.

City council advising public on transport cautious for coming cheng beng....

Departure from Tao Yuan International Airport... another trip completion, not perfect so i have reason to come again....

Sunday at Taipei

This is the reason why last night some camp appears around the corridor, because Alan 罗志祥 will have stage show here to promote his new album... hence, so many fan is here Cinema Street at Xi Men... since yesterday... in order to meet their idol...

Pass by a small street, full will wall art... and i like this... maybe one day i will paint some wall....

Our breakfast today is lu rou fan.... again...

Today is Sunday at Taipei, let go to places where local visit during their weekend....

Monga 龙山寺, something new for me is not only monk, but a public reading sūtra, believing on their religion....

Studio at Monga, few movie is actually cast here, for background of old time Taiwan society....

This is an unique restaurant, with special building structure and decoration.... really some thing that i cant imagine it... but we didn't have our lunch here.... just a sign visit and go to hypermarket 大润发  for shopping... and have our lunch...

Taipei city National Dr Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, 国父纪念馆.

Today is sunny Sunday, very nice for outing at park and enjoy background view on Taipei 101. 

Inside the memorial hall, display some history toward independent on China, father is interested on the reading material and ask me snap some photo of those material....

 Jianguo Holiday Flower Market, 花市, city council make use of the space underneath highway to setup this flower market...

A lot people here... people who stay in this city come here to buy some flower for decoration, landscaping... and to enjoy their family time here... nice place...

Innovative way of water planting... but i didn't buy... i try to memorize concept... hehe... another credit to my future...

After flower market, we go to underground market, didn't take much photo... another typical place for market... and is a tiring day for us, hang around so many market and experience a lot on how people from this city busy for their weekend, and is a cold day... so we look for some steamboat...
Mr Lee recommended us this restaurant, located at Xi Men, 天外天自助餐, after we step in only realize that is buffet, asking the price, out of our expectation for dinner, but the supervisor say give us some discount, and we also thinking that should have a nice meal as our last dinner at Taiwan... so we stay here... hehe... is glad there we choose here, food is nice, and fresh... slice meat for shabu shabu... Haagen dazs as desert... wah.... nice... also good serve to my senior travel mate... i think they eat every meal like this during their previous trip which organized by travel agent....

Taipei with Museum and Hall

Today we start visiting those typical tourism spot at Taipei, start with Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, 中正紀念堂. On duty is Navy team, they march in between shift change, become one of the attraction for tourist as well.

Independent Square, used to name as other name, changes when different party leading Taiwan...

After that, we visit Taipei 101, not much photo to share, is misty day and that is just another typical shopping mall... we didn't go to top floor as well... we go for our lunch, lu rou fan....

故宫，the Palace Museum, main attraction is a jade in cabbage shape, and pork... origin should be from Forbidden city, but you will not see it at China....

Worrier memorial hall, you can see mark on the floor? is result from daily marching through and back at this path...

Visiting Wu Fen Bu,五分埔， previously famous as hub for process,packaging for shirt, now is famous with bulk selling on fashion wear.... and huge area... we walk until so tired for continue shopping....i think this area need at least half day, for serious buyer, i think is tiring for tourist like me, who have only few hour here... and not really have mood for shopping... However, a special place though...

Is a tiring day, visiting many museum and hall, for all senior and me... we go back to Red Cabin earlier, without visiting night market as planed initially. After bath, feel that night still young and I don't want to waste.... I go hanging around Xi Men... stop by few concord for some road show....

Is a cold night, i pass by cinema street before reaching my room, and i spot this camp.... what happen next? i sleep here? hehe... Answer is on next day.....

North of TaiPei

Visiting Taiwan at different season will have different attraction to go... we have opportunity to visit flower season at Mountain Yang Ming 阳明山... a garden with pretty flower blossom, but poor me, not manage to shoot a lot nice photo.... at least... let me share this decoration at the entrance of garden.. Composed with real flower...

Route today mainly to cover North West of Taipei, after Mountain Yang Ming, another side of mountain is this area where grow a lot Calla Lilly 海芋花海, many local normally come here to buy some as decoration at home. 

After this flowery morning, we have our lunch at Jin Meng 庙口，famous for duck meal... serving method here is self service, cook will serve all dish in standard size, you just choose what you want, except for noodle, you can choose small, medium and large, hence, you go in group, this shall not be problem... but if you go with less than 3 person, you need to eat a lot.... 

On the way to Dan Shui, we stop by at this wind mill station... first time for us to stand so close to wind mill....

Yu Ren Jetty, 渔人码头， well developed tourism spot, and suppose to be a romantic spot, but is raining when we arrive this place.... so end with some running, fight with wind and buy some local delicious....

Old street of Dan Shui, 淡水老街, we buy some Tie Tan, 铁蛋, where egg gone through multiple round of  marinating... i like it, but many don't like it... fish cookies here also taste nice... good to buy back Malaysia as gift....

Last stop of the day is Shih Ling Night Market 士林夜市 for our dinner.... huge crowded... Feel bit paise to senior of my trip... but i think this should be nice experience for them to have backpacking... hehe...

My favourite is this chicken chop... for my last 4 night at Taiwan trip... my supper is this!!

We book a villa... different room with different color...

First destination today is Si Fen waterfall.... do you see rainbow?

Having our lunch at Kee Lung... In front of temple... or miao gou... crab soup, you fan, bao bao ping and ting bian tai here taste nice.. father and mother also goto try oyster omelet....

Ye Liu.... feel like visiting moon... those rock really identical after experience wave and wind for years....

Bought many seafood product here as gift....

Today will stay at Xi men... stop by cinema street for a walk... so many poster around.... a place that you need to headache for choosing cinema...

Dinner for tonight is Ah Zhong noodle... for many years... they serve nice food but no table.... we manage to grab some chair... after that hang around xi men....
